Step 1: Go to Privacy And Security option by clicking GB Settings.

Step 2: Reach “WhatsApp Lock” by scrolling down in “Privacy And Security” section.

Step 3: Click toggle to enable it that is next to “WhatsApp Lock” text.

Step 4: Choose Pattern or PIN according to your choice that will be set as your Password. 

Step 5: To change default PIN, click change Password option. If you go with Pattern, click change pattern option to change that. 

Note: Enable Recovery Question that will let you reset password by clicking the “Recovery Question” option. There you’ve to enter a question and answer of your own choice.
